About Us

We are passionate about bringing care to our community.

We are passionate about bringing care to the community we love.

Meet Andy and Heather

Andy

Andy is an ordained pastor with a heart for service and a passion for caring for others. For over 20 years, he has served with the fire department in a variety of roles and now continues his commitment to his community as the department’s chaplain. His experience also extends into law enforcement and EMT work, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by first responders.

Beyond his professional life, Andy is an avid outdoorsman who finds peace and renewal in nature. He is a devoted husband and a proud father, known for his steady presence, compassionate spirit, and unwavering dedication to those around him. Whether he’s offering guidance in moments of crisis or simply lending a listening ear, Andy embodies servant leadership and genuine care in all he does.

Heather

Heather is a dedicated mental health professional with over five years of experience in integrated mental health care. She is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Professional and an ADHD Clinical Services Provider, as well as a trained EMDR therapist. Heather is deeply passionate about helping individuals work through trauma and guiding them toward healing and growth.

A graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Heather combines her strong clinical expertise with genuine compassion and a person-centered approach to care.

Outside of her professional life, Heather finds joy and renewal in the outdoors—especially in the woods—and treasures time spent with her family. She loves her role as a mother and brings the same empathy, strength, and warmth she shares at home into her work with clients every day.

Transform Your Life with Frontline Faith Counseling & Consulting

Individual Counseling

Heather Kappel, LMHC (License #61407378, Washington State)
Heather Kappel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with five years of clinical experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and offers individualized treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and OCD.

Heather is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, process trauma, and develop practical coping strategies in a supportive and collaborative environment. Her approach integrates trauma-informed care with developmentally appropriate interventions, empowering clients and families to foster emotional growth and lasting well-being.

Couples Counseling

With over 15 years of experience working with couples and more than 22 years of marriage, our licensed mental health therapist and ordained Pastor brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to relationship counseling.

Couples therapy sessions provide a safe and compassionate space for partners to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional and spiritual connection. Drawing from evidence-based therapeutic approaches and faith-informed perspectives, sessions are tailored to each couple’s unique needs—whether addressing conflict, life transitions, intimacy concerns, or strengthening a healthy relationship foundation.

The goal is to help couples rediscover mutual respect, emotional closeness, and lasting partnership through practical tools, honest dialogue, and guided support grounded in both psychological insight and spiritual wisdom.

First Responder Care

As a couple dedicated to serving those who serve, we provide specialized mental health care for first responders and their families. Together, we bring both professional expertise and lived experience to our work—offering a unique, team-based approach to healing, resilience, and emotional well-being.

One of us is a licensed, trauma-informed therapist trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), while the other serves as a fire chaplain, also trauma-informed and trained in CISM. Our combined backgrounds in mental health, emergency services, and pastoral care allow us to meet responders where they are—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Our services are designed to help first responders and their loved ones process critical incidents, manage cumulative stress, address PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief, and develop tools for long-term resilience. We also offer faith integration for those who desire spiritual support as part of their healing journey.

We believe that no responder should carry the weight of service alone. Through compassionate, confidential, and culturally aware care, we walk alongside those who dedicate their lives to protecting others—helping them find balance, strength, and hope.

Spiritual Consultation

Find guidance, encouragement, and renewed purpose through faith.

With over 20 years of ministry experience, our ordained Christian Pastor offers compassionate spiritual consultation for individuals, and couples seeking clarity, healing, and direction. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, or simply longing to deepen your walk with God, you’ll find a safe, prayerful space for reflection and growth.

Rooted in Biblical wisdom and guided by the Holy Spirit, sessions focus on helping you strengthen your faith, restore hope, and discover peace in God’s plan for your life.

✨ Faith. Healing. Hope. Restoration. ✨
